in Interviews With Successful Online Business Owners

Yaro Stark of Entrepreneur’s Journey and owner of Blog Mastermind and a couple other products that make him $40,000 per month interviews Leigh Peele of Avidity Fitness . Her business is a great example of the profit potential of combining blogging with an information product, in this case an ebook. You’ve got to realize that your blog isn’t your money maker, your blog is a tool to drive search engine traffic and and social network traffic to your products, affiliate products, or advertisements. Her niche is also a great one- the fat loss niche is one of the biggest and most profitable there is, you just have to make a good info product and market it. On an SEO side note, she should really change her home page title on LeighPeele.com to something like ‘How To Lose Weight Quickly – Leigh Peel’ instead of ‘Leigh Peel’ to help with her search engine rankings.

This audio is about a year old but the information is still spot on.

They talk about the power of free reports and how good they are for attracting subscribers to your ‘above the fold‘ email list opt-in form.

She talks about how you should personally say to your new email list subscribers “Hey thanks for joining my list. If you every have any questions or things you need ask me personally and email me.” Build relationships with people on your list, it is key to your success. As John Reese says your list is like your ATM machine.

She emphasizes that you should know EVERYTHING about your niche. Become a master of it. That’s the only way you’ll ever be able to dominate part of your niche’s market share.

She seems to make most of her money from social networking in every form. She interviews people, she interacts with her subscribers and customers, she constantly asks her visitors what they want, what problems they want help with, and she monetizes her blog the right way- with her own product. If she isn’t commenting on many other fitness blogs, she should be, as it can be a big source of traffic and network building.

You have to work hard to make money online. It takes ambition. But anyone can do it if they try hard and keep trying, learning, and evolving.

All that you’ve mentioned above is true.. Learning, growing all these things come in place with time and persistence

Somehow people have the belief that making money online can happen in a matter of a few days, which is definitely not the case….

Good Post My friend!

Keep up the good work!

Cheers

@Curious Little Person

Yea it takes time to make money online. But make sure you have a well thought out plan to eventually get to that point. Creating your own digital product that solves a problem is the best path currently for individuals in my opinion.
